Hey, just got in from a show this weekend.  Thanks for the nice words.  I love the pictures.  Great color and quality.  I wish I could do that.

To answer some questions that have arrived through private messages.  I do not charge extra for the double shelf unless the poundage of the bow and/or riser wood choices dictate that I reinforce the riser with a "hidden I beam" piece of 1/4" fiberglass.  Thus adds about 40.00 to my costs for the material and also for the replacement of a bandsaw blade that is trashed after working with the FG.  Rons bow was light enough in poundage and the choice of cocobolo and osage for the riser, I wasn't concerned.

These bows shoot great but it is note worthy that the shelf is not cut quite as far to center as a single shelf bow.  You will need a little lighter spine arrow.  Thanks,  Chad

Ron, I'll have to catch up with you to shoot that beautiful bow. That one is just up my alley. Chad makes some nice bows I admire them every year at ETAR, now I guess I need to be serious when looking.

The dual shelf is proving to be an interesting option. When I shoot left handed I am amazed I do as well as I do. Once the weather breaks I'm going to devote some time to the left side and try to get consistent with it. I now have a recurve and a longbow with the dual shelf....both by Chad.

Ron, you really have me thinking about that dual shelf now. Not for the usual reason - that I could shoot from either side of the stand - but just because it really helps me concentrate on form if I alternate every few shots and force myself to really bear down on the form basics.

Yes, they do require a weaker dynamically spined arrow, but that's no problem. I had a "D" longbow that was cut nowhere near center. A light-spined carbon loaded down with 275gr up front and like you said, it really walloped the target and was the most forgiving bow I had.

I'm really glad you posted this! Congrats again on a beautiful bow.

The pictures don't do this bow justice! Prior to Ron showing this bow to me in person, I was talking to him at a local shoot and just smiled at me and said, "I GO BOTH WAYS NOW!" After I picked myself up of the floor with laughter I realized Ron was talking about this new jem

Moots, I rave because I think Chad makes an excellent bow for the price and they just seem user friendly to me!! Not to hard on the eyes either.....lol!
