Does anyone have both of these and can they tell me if the Marco is definately smaller fit. I've got two vinatage Bear 45/55 endless strings from the early 60's that the 5/16 Classic nock is too loose for. My 9/32 classic nocks fit just right.

Here's what the 3 Rivers site says:

Marco Snap-on Nocks are an old favorite. They give the most secure hold on the bow string to keep an arrow from falling off. No indexer and uses a high quality plastic to be more consistent and very durable.

Ray,

I have had the same experience as you.  I prefer the Marco Snap nock on my 12 Strand D97 String for my RER.  I don't have to build up the serving at all, and get a nice fit on "my string".

Send me a PM I may have a few Marcos, 5/16's I can send your way to try out.

For a smaller diameter string and a slightly "snap-on" fit I really like the Bear Paw nocks from Kustom King.

If you want to try one for fit I'll send you one..?

Times 2. But I make them a little bit wider with a small file. When I am ready they arrow just doesn't fall off the string. But with a little push it does.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

Thanks for the offers guys. Gator1 has me set up with a Marco coming to try.

The reasons I like the Bear Paw is that they come off the shaft in the same profile. They don't bulge up as much as other "snap-on" style nocks. The prongs on back also flex allowing the nock to release off the string nicely.
