I just picked up a Northern Mist Classic from the classifieds.  My groups are great, but I'm hitting to the right about 4" at 10 yards (obviously more farther out).

I'm a lefty.  Any thoughts?

The specifics are:  NM Classic 52#@28", pulling 27", 30" CE Heritage 150's, 225 gr. point, FF string, BH 7".

This is my first Hill style bow.  Usually shoot R/D longbows.

Thanks
Ken

Never question a man's choice in bows or the quality of an animal he kills.  He is the only one who has to be satisfied with either of those choices.

Ken, your arrows are probably a little stiff. Steve's usually cuts his bows 3/16 from center plus the leather. They dont require a real stiff arrow and carbons you can really pile on the weight.

Just for example..I shoot a Shelton that is 57 at 29 and was playing around with a 30.5" 150 with 250g on the front and it flew excellent.

If you got some heavier points or 50g inserts that will soften them up a little more. Or if you can get a hold of a Heritage 90 to try.

Thanks Eric,

I've got quite the assortment of tip weights...LOL...not that I'm carbon friendly, just "wood challenged"...

I'll try 250 and 300 this evening.
