So I posted about going out on my first stump shoot/scout of the year today.  Hit the lovely WMA that is only 15 minutes from the house.  Saw turkeys, that has me psyched.  Also saw lots of hog rooting type sign.  Great couple hours in the woods.  Well, on my way back to the car I encounter this:

Guess once some trash is done poaching for the year it decides spring is a good time to dump trash in the woods.  Some people.  They are so lucky I didn't catch them in the act.  I was fuming.

I 100% agree with you.  Whats so hard for people to take stuff to the dump?  That is the last thing I want to see is trash out in the woods.

Pure ignorance, laziness, and zero sense of responsibility.  Only thing that calms me is the old saying 'what goes around comes around'.  They'll get theirs.

Call the authorities, they may be able to find something in there that would lead them to the ones responsible for that mess. Sure hope so.

Some people have no respect and no sence of value. Really sad.  :nono:

No respect for anything.  I have difficulty understanding people like this.

Yep. Call the authorities. Maybe they can find something in the trash with a name on it, a phone number...something, to lead them to the low-life(s) that dumped the stuff, and criminal charges! My patience runs thin with anyone who does such stuff.

Slobs are everywhere. No respect for the land or anything else. You should see areas of the beautiful Sonoran desert where idiots dump everything; tvs, refrigerators, computers, and then shoot them full of holes and leave their brass laying around. You can't fix stupid.
If you don't like cops, next time you need help, call Al Sharpton

Forestry has been out there doing burns recently and will run across it probably this week.  We just had rain and the stuff wasn't even wet so they must have done it last night or early this morning.  Its right on the main trail, the morons didnt even try to hide it.  I considered calling it in, but I looked over it and its just old furniture, paint cans, soffit-  looks like someone was gutting an old house.  Anyway, didnt find anything obvious to identify anyone.  Not sure if I should call FWC or the Sheriff?

Centaur, is right you just can't fix stupid. I usually take garbage out when I leave the bush ,but what do you do in this case?  Will the authorities come and remove it?  I doubt it . Maxx

Definitely call the authorities.  If it's a popular dump site, there are ways of monitoring the area, especially if it's a continuing problem.

We live on a small lake. There is a boat launch and parking area where a lot of people eat lunch. When they're done, the trash goes out the window, right next to the trash barrel. Then there are the ones who come out at night, break branches off the lakeside trees to prop up their fishing rods and leave the empty worm cans and water and beer bottles lying where they fished.

I believe there are some people who have never learned to respect others and they will never change. The same guys tear up the pool tables in the Army dayroom cause it's Army property; not theirs.

I am with MCNSC: Call the sheriff. Slobs like that ruin everything they get involved in.
