Ron, I had a 66" 45# Sparrowhawk. My very favorite bow. Cocobolo riser with bamboo cores and dirty boo veneers. I didn't have any woodies at the time, but CE90's with 250gr up front bent around that sideplate real nice. Best shooting bow I had, but then came a switch (2nd time) to the left side and it went on it's way. Aren't they sweet shooting bows? Have 2 "righties" on the rack which will stay there, but it's filling fast with "lefties".

Seriously think I need a bigger rack. Way too many nice bows out there to enjoy yet   :)

Ron, I just shot it with some Ash 60-65 shafts and I am impressed.

Now that I have had this Mohawk for a couple of weeks I can honestly give my thoughts on it. I really like the connection hinge, hardly even know it's there. As far as shooting it......excellent, good speed and cast very tolerant for arrow spine. I have shot 50-55, 55-60, 60-65, cedar, ash, and laminated birch, 2016, 2117, and 2216 and this bow doesn't seem to care. One of the best used bows I have ever bought from the classifieds. I'm glad pokerdaddy let it go at a fair price   :notworthy:    :notworthy:

Awww, shucks Ron, ur gonna make me blush  :banghead:  .  I only NEED a couple three more and I'll be content   ;)  .

First priority right now is getting our first travel trailer in the coming months.  Really excited to spend more time with the family at some of our great shoots here in Michigan, rather than just driving to and from in a day.  And hopefully we can make it to Denton Hill soon and meet more great TradGangers like yourself!!

Andrew,
I was down to three, until I bought your Wild Horse Creek Vision and then I bought a Leon Stewart takedown slammer.  Too many bows!

So yesterday I shot all five, thinking I could pick one to sell.  Enjoyed shooting, had a grin on my face, but couldn't pick one to sell.  A lot of very fine bows.

Enjoy your new Mohawk Ron. I bought a one piece standard Mohawk a couple of years ago and absolutley love it.52#@28" and 64". I just got a new take down with the same specs for air travel. I also like the black glass. My search is over for the perfect bow for me. Good luck and enjoy

I had Cyclic-rivers [Charlie] shooting it....I think I saw a smile on his face.....lol!   ;)

Arrows were grouping for me quite well.  In fact I remember ron telling me to use my own arrows at one point   :readit:   . Good bow
Relax,

You'll live longer!
