I am looking for a reference guide for animal tracks and sign.  Looking for paperback, something I can keep in a pack for field use.  Any recommendations?

Try "Petersons Field Guide to Animal Tracks" by Olaus J. Murie. It's paperback, 375 pages and a compact 3.5 X 7.0 inches.

The Complete Tracker by Len Mcdougall also a compact paperback. Excellent Information.
