spine question

If I taper a arrow say 15" on a 11/32 shaft to 5/16 how spine could I lose doing that and what would happen if the Tapper was even longer than that thanks Jake

A 9-inch taper will reduce the spine from 1# to 3#.  Have no idea what it would be at 15 inches, but I'd guess at least twice as much.
