Got this on e bay for 35$ his usually sell for 100-150$ seems sturdy  and shoots well. Hickory 72" 60@28
...  will it hurt to lightly sand and add snakeskin? It has a clearcoat on entire bow thats shiny...

Won't hurt it at all. Use 150 grit or close to it.
