I'm thinking about buying one of these quivers and I would like to know if he grippers are easy to switch because I would like to use the quiver for both aluminum and carbon arrows.
Thanks
Mike

Jwilliam

Very easy to switch out.

One set screw.Depending on size,a lot of carbons and aluminums could use the same gripper.

Excellent quiver, you'll like it.

I've done just that no problem.
Tell them when you order you want both grippers.
I now leave the larger one on for my wood arrows and add rubber bands entwined through the grippers to reduce them for carbons.

I've tried all sorts of quivers and this is my favorite style.

Great quiver, grippers are a snap to change out.

Does the strap tend to slide around on your shoulder and get in the way?

Love mine. But I made a slight modification to the original.

I like to hang it by the strap when hunting from a tree stand. Unthreading it from the plastic adjuster thingy got to be annoying to me so I bought a plastic clip and installed it in the strap. Its still adjustable but the clip allows me to quickly hang it in the stand.

It's my go-to quiver and I too change the grippers as needed.

You can also do some fine adjustment on how tightly a given gripper grips the arrows by tightening or loosening the small screws around the slots where the arrows are held.  Tightening will squeeze the rubber thus decreasing the diameter of the arrow slots.  You can definitely get the adjustment out of these quivers to securely hold your arrows.

Love mine. I added a small metal belt clip to the hood for hanging while in a tree. Got it at the big box fabric store.

Does anyone use a GFA while carrying a stand on their back?  How well does that work?  I use a Lone Wolf and take my stands in and out each time I hunt (public land).

I do.  I use a Summit Bushmaster and it works well.  Put the stand on my back and then the quiver.  You will have to position the quiver so that it doesn't clank on the stand while walking.  You might have an easier time with this since I think a Lone Wolf is smaller than a Summit.
