I'm back home and gettin ready to head out again. Comp time from the Friday before gun when I shoulda been out there! LOL

Dave, I may need some pointers, I'm out of practice, first arrow of the year at game. Well, second but the other one is a long story and I ain't got time right now, the deer are rutting!

Called a nice 10 in tonite to 35 yds, but he crossed where I walked in and didn't like me that well. Didn't spook , just walked back out in hayfield and watched. Maybe didn't smell me, just couldn't locate the deer he thought oughta be there.

Then a BIG 8 pt chased a doe around in the brush 60 yds out in front of me, but she led him across the open field and away to some waiting gunners who slung lead for a while. Couldn't see the results , but assume they missed, he was about 400 yds from their position and never saw em head down to look.

Goin to a different place in AM to see whats goin on there....

Missed the update last nite. Yesterday am saw 5 bucks and maybe 10 does. Went to lease to see what I could see. Only buck close nuff was a big forkie that went by at 10 at day lite. Saw 3  Ida  shot but too far. No real chasin goin on. Didn't go last nite and am in KC this mornin buyin lumber!
