I set my grunt tube on the pitch that sounds like the primos estous bleat and imitated that.

He was obviously looking for the deer that made the call.

He was broadside at 10 yards but walking. I had the same arrow on the string that I killed the doe using a stone point. New point installed now.

I could tell he was young so I just let him walk.

I think the rut is right around the corner though.
