Ok so I bought a Hoyt Dorado and want to see how your shafts are setup in comparison to your bow specs. I am looking for a good bare shaft and paper tune setup. I am shooting a 50# bow @ 28". Currently I will be using a full length 35/55 Gold Tip shaft and 150 gr tip fletched with 5" LW shield cut feathers. I have yet to shoot them ... Im sure I will have to shorten the shaft length.

Rock 'N Bow

I shoot 30" Axis 400's with 75gr inserts and 200gr points fletched with 4" parabolic. I have the sideplate built out to the centerline. I draw a little over 29". The bow is about 55# at my drawlength. Where is your sideplate built out to? If it is past center your arrows might be a bit weak. If it is in the center or less full length shafts might work but I think you may need to trim a little. Are you drawing a true 28"?
