Any trick for keeping weight tubes in?  Mine keep poping my knocks out.

If I glue the knock in is there any way to get the knock out if it breaks?

I take and crimp it in a couple different places makes it fit tight.

I just finally got rid of the weight tubes and went with heavy inserts. That raised my FOC and solved the problem of nocks coming out!

But if you want to use them use a pair of pliers and smash the tube about every 3 or 4 inches as you put them in. will help but not stop it completely

Thats a reason I don't like weight tubes, and I like to be able to remove or replace nocks. The only nock that held in with weight tubes were some of the old Gold Tip lock nocks, they had a small allen head screw in the center you could tighten up the nock.

Is there any reason you can't just glue the weight tube itself into the arrow. I've been wanting to try these weight tubes in my Beman MFX arrows for some time.

I called 3 Rivers and he recommended shoe goo which you can purchase at Walmart.  I just installed them and will let you know.  I crimped the tube every 1-2" then dabbed a bit on the insert end and installed them by twisting them around.  When I got to the end I pushed them in the a knock and rotated the knock several times to make sure there was no glue in the knock area.  Then I removed the knock and put a Qtip inside to get any remaining glue out (which non came out) and now they are drying with the knock out.  The guy at 3 Rivers said they won't come out.

I have tried this it is not a good idea. The wieght tubes are not often a tight fit and glueing it to one side of the arrow is not wise.

I have also gone to heavy inserts only. as Bisch and Wtpops mentioned

We'll see how it works out.  I twisted them in to hopefully distribute the glue evenly.  All the arrows are within 2g's of each other.  Thanks for the suggestions.

It is nice to see that now I have purchased weight tubes there are some additional issues with using them.

The only issue is when you hit something hard it will pop the knocks out.  That's why I'm crimping and glueing them in.  I haven't had any problem shooting targets.  I'm sure once I hit a deer I'll need to put in another knock.
