Just getting into building my arrows; simply sealed my first set, and wanting to add a crown dip on the next. Anyone know what paint(s) are compatible with a water based poly sealer?

Tree Rat

You should be able to use water base poly over anything, but there is only one way to know for sure.

Terry is right.  just remember to give the paint a minimum of 24 hrs to dry.  water based has worked on everything I have tried so far.

I use spray paint to do my crowns.  Any that I have tried works with water poly sealer.

Just be sure to put the water based poly OVER the other paints.

Oil based paints/sealers go over virtually everything including water based paints/sealers as in your case, water based poly.

Water based paints/sealers only go over water based paints/sealers.
