I have shot the older grizzly heads for a while. I decided to pick up some new ones when they came out a few months ago (160gr).

Mounted them to 100gr steel inserts for my carbons and got out my files. I noticed the edges almost looked sharp out of the package. Oposite of the old style where you were stuck grinding away for an eternity to get the right angle.

So I put the files away and grabbed a good arkansas style sharpening stone. 8 licks on the straight side, 8 on the bevel, then one more on the straight. I did this 2X for each side of the broadhead. It shaves hair with medium pressure now!!

I will go farther of course, they will all pop hair when finished.

so for those of you that may not be the best at sharpening, give the new grizzly BH a try. You wont be sorry!

They are nice aren't they?  I got mine well past standard in a short time.  They fly well.  I can only imagine they will perform just fine given the opportunity.

Try calling Bill and placing an order directly from him.
