depends on how far away that shot was...for me, if it was 20yds or closer I would have shot.  He looks good to me but I dont hunt horns though I appreciate a nice rack (no pun)....Will shoot a doe as quickly as an 8 point when legal.

Wife just wants the meat in the freezer....she actually depends on it through year for all of our ground meat and sausage.

How many chances will you have to hunt again this year?  Do you rely on killing your own meat?

IDK, should you have?

Is this 10th or your first???  Is it better than any 'lope you've shot before??  I've never seen a 'lope in the wild, so yes-the arrow is gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have let critters walk in the early season only to get skunked in the late season...PR

Depends on if you want an excuse to hunt longer, I couldn't have let him walk because antelope and I don't get along.  The don't cooperate.

If you are refering to shooting him early in the season and ending your hunting for antelope. It all depends on what you like more the hunt or meat.
If you are refering to the size of his horns, that is personal choice on what you call a trophy. TV hunting programs have put it in peoples head that the rack is all you hunt for.
That way of thinking about hunting is a complete shame. just my .02

Nice looking animal though, hope it tasted great over the camp fire.

Where I live that is considered a trophy. I wouldn't think twice about dropping the string.
