Does anyone know if Saxon is still in business? I have a Saxon badger kids bow I am trying to get info on. It's a great little bow. They don't really seem to have any internet presence which usually means bad things for the company.

I'd guess Randy is done. His website seems to be gone. He had to move to care for his Mother I think and is not getting any younger. Shame. I have two of his bows and love them. A really good bowyer.

Randy was one of the few who could make those narrow , deep cored limbs, as on the American. Quite a lovely bow.

I learned to build bows under Randy; if anyone knows of his whereabouts I sure would like a PM from him. Been way too long.....

My first longbow was a Saxon American. A great shooting bow that I sold to another TG member some years back. Randy was the real deal.
