I happened across this yesterday and bought it.
It is a super K serial KZ18632 50@28 and 60"AMO
has rose colored tips and a matching stripe in the riser. Fascor and a Victor sticker on the top limb. Brass color medallion that sticks out (round, not flush) a grayling bow.

It is as new, except for some small handling scratches on the back of the limbs. I'm certain it was shot very little. Still has the original string.

Anybody care to expound on it's history?

Is it too late to be what I could have been?

Big Bird

Its a 1973 hard year to find.also they are great shooters.

It looks like mine when I got it new. Mine is 55lbs. I want to get it refinished one day but I have other bows I shoot more. Yes, you have a real nice find there, enjoy.

Jack Shanks

Does it have gold or white lettering?

The 1973 and 1974 are much the same. The '73's at least started out with gold lettering but I see a lot with white lettering and few with gold so I wonder if the switch wasn't made sometime early in the '73 model year as opposed to the 1974 model. In the 1973 and 74 Bear catalog the same picture of a gold lettered Super Kodiak was used. I have three with white lettering but not one with gold.

Grayling Super Kodiaks 1967-76 left to right. Missing 1971 and 73.
