Welcome.  This is a great place to hang.  Nice picts.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

Awesome pics bud. Nice dog too. Congrats on making meat last year. More than I can say, we got skunked last year again.

What bow are you shooting and how many pounds ? May be the pics, but looks like the brace height is way low on your bow ? Is your bow loud ? No string silencers ? Most bows are around 7-7.5" from the string to the deepest part of the grip for brace height. You twist the string up or down to change this measurement. You probably already know this but if not just trying to help bud. Brace height really makes a difference in noise level on a recurve too. Did your quiver come from the doe in your pics, NICE !!!

Hey thanks for the hospitality everyone, good vibe here and already using some of the recipes from some of you, as for my bows my longbow is unknown make and my recruve is just a pse cheapy but I love it, the noise doesnt really concern me very much because every deer or animal i draw on is a very close shot, less than 20 yrds on a deer or i wont take the shot because i make my own arrows and the broadheads i use are hand made from deer fibula and penetration is sometimes an issue,I also dont like breaking a point from missing after honing it down for hours a night for a week,im looking for another bow but no one i can find offers a recurve at around 80lbs which i know is alot but my friend had one and i could hold it easy and also make longer shots with ease, my recurve is at 55#s now and yes i make my own quivers from the deer i harvest ,

Lostarrow2, great pictures, this site can get to an real habit. I have learned a lot. Saw that you wanted a 80# bow. It appears you have the ability to get close... that is the best of hunting and you do not need 80# for that.. I switched to a 45# bow and shoot often and a lot, more fun than my heavier bows. Can shoot all day long and at some of the shoots you want to shoot all day long. Welcome to The Gang!
