Thunderhead broadheads

Has anyone ever used thunderhead broadheads? I used them years ago in my training wheel days but never used them out of my real bows.Thank,Kevin

There has been a couple post over the last year with a bunch of replies.

I personally wouldn't mind using them a bit but think there are so many as good or better choices out there these days.

When I was shooting compounds that's what I used,and had no problems with them at all. I was looking around on the internet the other day and saw where they had made a two blade in the past. It was a 145 grain head and looked pretty neat.

First couple of years after I started shooting Traditional again I shot the 125 3 blades. they shot great and I had good penetration. only problem i had was the cost of the replacement blades.

They are an amazing head. Shoot tem if you got them.  I traded mine off for some old bear greenies or that's what I'd be using

I recently purchased some that are 180gr.and was thinking about trying them out I did'nt know they made them in that weight

They made them in a 160grn  two blade version also. I killed alot of deer with these out of a 90lb wheel bow back in the day, they were very tough with blades that were 30 thousands thick.

They are kinda of like that they are a little longer though they are old stock someone had that they did not sell.

I have killed tons of critters with T-Head 125's. I am very sharpening challenged and felt that a razor sharp thunderhead was better than a dull cut on contact head. i now use GK Silverflame broadheads and have figured out how to get them scary sharp.

I've used the 160's and the 125's with fine results out of my trad bows. This years turkey was taken with a 2016 tipped with a 100 grn TH out of my Big Jim Thunder Child and it dropped him in his tracks.

They always fly great, I have never had a tuning problem with them.

Shot 125grn 3 blade on 2216 xx75 easton arrows for many years and never had a problem

I hunted with the 125s last year. Kind of a "retro" hunt for me. I fired 3 arrows, and had 3 clean kills on mature whitetail does. I think I will use them again this year!

I know a few big names that wouldn't hesitate to use them tomorrow if they became a sponsor.
