I love the Waldrop seat.  It is extremely comfortable, versatile, and lightweight.  You can tell that it was well thought out.  I like it so much that I'm going to buy one for my kids to use when they go with me!

It's also very tough and durable. I accidentally ran it over with my jeep after the first time I used it and it escaped with just a minor scratch.

Great product!

I did a review of one either last year or year before, sorry cann't remember.  It is a stick seat, light and will lean on any tree or sapling and comfy even on hill sides.  like i said light, carry easy's, sets up quick, like drop and sit, I used in stalking deer and works great.

I use a Nif-T-Seat, or on property I have consistent access to, I have stashed several milk crates around so there is always one close by.

Another vote for the Waldrop pack seat. Works great with my Guille suit.

I prefer my DB Magnum. Light and comfortable. I like the Huntmore 360...if I don't have to walk too far with it.

The Hammock seat!  I have a Nifty seat (sp?) that is very versatile but it's not very comfortable after 30 or so minutes.  The Hammock seat is so comfortable you may scare the deer away with your snoring!   :bigsmyl:

Check out the resent threads on the PAC seat. Some great ideas on customizing the seat with a day pack and netting for stowing a ghillie.

I set up my sites ahead of time. I've used milk creats from years. Just carry a couple foam seats to put on top. Right height for shooting off the ground. Takem and leave them.

Thanks for all the input, guys.  I hunt primarily public land, so I'm reluctant to set up serious blinds ahead of time.  There aren't many worse feelings than setting up a blinds and finding someone else in it on opening day.  So, I'm going with a collapsable seat that I can easily pack in and out.  I'm also steering away from seats that must be leaned or strapped to a tree, since some of the deeriest (fake word) spots I hunt are old clearcuts and trees are hard to come by.  Waldrop seems to be in the lead right now, so I'm leaning that way, but I'm not completely sold yet.

If I'm hunting out of a pop up blind the Huntmore is my choice but if I am doing a lot of walking and want to set up in a likely place I carry my Walkstool it is lite and quick to set up.
