I recently purchased some Gateway chartreuse feathers and was surprised when I got them that they are more of a dull lime green color than the bright yellowish color I had bought previously.  I honestly don't know what brand I bought the last time or who I got them from.  Is there a difference between the Gateway, AMG and Trueflight chartreuse?  I want the bright yellowish ones (not flo yellow).  Which ones do I need to get?

I did a search here but couldn't find what I was looking for. I also looked through some catalogs and on line but couldn't get a definitive answer there either.

Just glancing at the Trueflight and Gateway web pages shows that there is a difference in what each company calls chartreuse.
Plus, I've seen various retail stores occasionally use a different name for the color than what the manufacturer calls it.
Not sure what to tell you on which one you want. It's not easy to describe colors with typing so can't say if you want Gateway chartreuse, Gateway flo yellow, Gateway lemon lime, or Trueflight fluoro chartreuse.

I can't answer about the difference in color between the companies you mentioned but the AMG chartreuse is a vivid yellow - green.  I like the visibility of them.  Here is a photo of some on arrows I have in the auction:

AMG has the brightest colors of any company. They offer Chartruese, Flo Lime, Flo Orange and Hot Pink. I have their chartruese on my hot pink crown dip along with pink. No problem with visibility. I also like the flo orange on a flo orange crown dip.

There is a HUGE variation.........even with the same company!  The BEST chartreuse I ever bought were AMG. That being said, I bought a bag of 100 from a different vendor (online) and what I got was flo yellow!  When I challenged them on it, they said AMG sent them that color for chartreuse.  Nothing they could do.  I sent them back and had them send me hot pink.

I will never buy chartreuse fletching online again.  It's best to pick them up at a shop or from a vendor at one of the summer shoots where you can verify the actual color.

Well said......

These are TruFlight feathers and they come the closest to what I am looking for in that particular color.

I have found that some vendors confuse the flo chartreuse and the flo lime green colors also.  Chartruese is a shade of yellow to me, and lime green is, well, green.  Look at Joe's pic above, pretty hard to tell the difference in that picture.

I have used some of the AMG flo orange feathers, they really pop too!

Depending on the lighting when taking pics, lime and chart can look the same. This pic is flo orange dip, flo orange feathers...they are really bright but pic doesn't show the vibrant colors.

Another of flo lime...then chart feathers on flo orange crown.

Chartruese is an awesome colr on arrows, i use it more often than not. Unless i am matching some existing fletching, I really don't pay too much attention when I order....some is glowing yellow, some is almost glowing green. It's the "glow" that catches my eye, so I don't care what I  get. That saidmy arrows aren't near as pretty as what I see here. I ight be more picky if they were.    ;)

Thanks guys!  Joe, great pictures.  That is exactly what I'm looking for.  It looks like I need to order some AMG's today.

I have always shot Trueflight Chartreuse feathers. Kustom King calls them Chartreuse, but 3 Rivers Archery calls them Lime.
I was thinking about trying Bearpaw feathers, but they offer Flo. Yellow and Flo. Green. Go Figure !!!
