Found urban deer haven, trail cam up.

While mountain biking in preparation for elk season this fall, I ran onto a lot of deer tracks around a roadside watersource.

I back trailed them and found an area that looks promising. Lots of atv trails nearby but there is a lot of dead fall over this old road that parallels a rail road track. they cross this to get to water.

Will post pics if any are worth posting. Some BIG bucks have been seen nearby by a police officer friend of mine.

It has only been up since this morning but I did bump at least one deer out of there while looking for game trails.

I'll post some this weekend if there are any.

Bump into a bunch of deer Mt Biking in San Antonio green belt.  Inside city limits so they're safe.

Well... now we wait. New Trophy Cam is out. So far I like it. Easy to set up, small. Pics are good quality. For the money, I'd say they are a good buy.
