sunday morning bowffshing in ny

I got out early Sunday morning for a little bowfishing. It was as calm as can be.



It wasn't 5 minutes into the trip when I got my first shot of the morning.



A short time after I made good on another opportunity( after 2 misses)



I came up to a small island and there was spawning activity on all sides. I got ten feet from these 4, but left them to their business.



I got number 3 just before I dropped my cell phone in the water.



It was about time to head back down river, but I did manage to get one more shot.

where in NY do you bow fish?  I see a TON of carp while kayaking in the east branch of delaware river. always wanted to set up a bow and give it a shot while kayaking     havnt seen many carp close to the banks though, esp around my area.
