Long Bow

Anyone have any experience with these? Or with bowyer Jerry Barr. Saw one for the first time yesterday, but have not shot one.

Any info would be great! Thanks all.  :archer:

Over&Under

My Father and I have had several of Jerry's bows.  All great shooters, not the fastest bows out there, but forgiving, smooth, no hand shock, and the fit and finish are excellent.  Jerry does not make bows anymore, and sold the business.  I beleive they are still being made under the same name.  We had the Coyote, and the Lobo. Just an all around nice custom bow.

They are excellent bows, smooth shooting and forgiving. They have a semi reverse handle, good R/D and I think they are fast as most bows.I have a Coyote, one of the first ones when he started building them years ago mine has Proto #4 marked on it.

Thanks for the info guys.

I bought a Lobo today, that was suppose to be made by Jerry. It looks beautiful in the pics. She's cocbollo and bacote in the riser with birds eye maple limbs. I will post when I get her and let ya'll know  :archer:

Thanks again!

Thunder Mountain bows are now being made in Farmington, Missouri. Guy named Jim is doing it. I don,t know his last name. I haven't shot one but they are good looking bows and I've heard good things about them
