Does anybody on here hunt pigs in Alabama? I've never tried it. I live in Huntsville. I know there are some in the Bankhead National Forest. I'm thinking about heading over there tomorrow to do some scouting/get-out-of-the-house-ing while I'm waiting on my new bow.

Are there any other good places in the northern part of the state? Any tips or hints?

Check with the local Game Wardens, they might can put you on a farmer that wants shed of hogs.  Also check with the County Extension agent, they may be able to point you in the right direction.
Down south most farmers want hogs dead, and they don't care how.  Tricky part is how to approach a farmer and get his blessing.
Good luck, JAG

Thanks guys. I went over to Bankhead today. I saw a lot of sign, but it was all on the WMA. I also found this:
