I just wanted to say thanks for for such a great site.  I had surgery on my knee friday, so I've been doin alot of sitting around.  I always spend time on here, but more than usual this weekend.  I read half of E Don Thomas' new book, all of the spring edition of Trad Archer World, and of course my daily devotionals.  Anyways thanks to those who contribute on this site and  who do write ups in the great trad magazines out there.  Looking foward to the Michigan spring Turkey season, and  getting outside!  Never bored with Trad......DB    :campfire:

I agree with you 100%.  I am a newer member to this sight and love it.  I have learned so much and have met so many good guys this past year.  There are a lot of great stories and pictures on here thanks to everyone.

I hope you never get bored with Trad, I never did.

I am 65 and owned a compound for one season in the 70's, everything else has been traditional.

I cannot tell you how many thousands of arrows I have shot but even in the dead of summer, with no season in sight, I cannot walk past my bow rack more than a day or two without picking a bow and shooting a couple of arrows.
It is a wonderful addiction.
Hope your knee heals well!

I just had back surgery and have read TB magazines twice and still find it interesting. I foam at the mouth watching my little ones shoot while I cant. it is never boring.

Between trad. archery and playing bluegrass music, life around here is never boring, seems that both hobbies are a journey in which you are always learning, and trying to improve.   :campfire:

Good luck with the knee. I had a bunch of knee repair surgeries and finally had to have a knee replacement surgery. No matter how bad it gets, modern medicine has a workable solution. Like you, I have been on TradGang a lot lately -- I am recovering from a hip replacement right now. The first place I am going when I can walk again is a hike in the woods. Well, maybe, I'll shoot my bow in the yard first.

Trad archery is a great sport. And trad bowhunting is the most challenging and interesting aspect of the sport.

Good luck with your recovery and with getting back to full strength. Be patient.
