Good judgement comes from experience.  Experience comes from bad judgement.

I think I know that guy.

It was, indeed, Lambshead ranch, last week at the Wensel Pig Gig. I believe a good time was had by all. The Wensels' stories are worth the trip.

Thanks to Rick Stillman for taking his truck. He's probably still washing the dirt out. And thanks to Joe Furlong for the Tuff Heads. They gave great penetration from my 45# bow.

We are already talking about a return trip. I'm glad Wayne talked me into saving the ribs whole. I had some outstanding wild pig ribs Monday.

Congrats Chuck. What weight of Tuffhead were you shooting the 225 or 300? How about some pictures of that takedown hedge risered bow as well.

Chuck Jones

Flint,
I used the 225, grain tuffhead with one of Ricks fir arrows. Total weight was 650 grains.

My takedown riser is made from persimon wood. I never have fiqured out how to post pictures on here.

Chuck you can send some to my e-mail addy if you have some. I sent you a PM.

Ya I know that guy.,  Congratulation  Chuck    :clapper:  Nice hog. And great trophy picture. It sounds like you all had a good time

Who says a 45 pound bow is not heavy enough to do the job.
I will be visiting with you soon.
