Just wondering with all the neat trail cam pics. How high off the ground do you hang them.

Outwest

Seems like mine are at about 4 feet.

36 TO 48" unless you have to worry about thef. Then mount high and angle down.  Drew

Around waist high, and if you dont want it stolen easy there are metal boxs that are made to lock the camera in!

I have found putting them about 6-7 feet and pointed NW to NE pretty much eliminates the whiteouts I was having..

Also have very few pictures of old does looking directly at the camera..

Also got a bunch of pictures of the pumpkin army and none of them had ever seen my cameras.  :)

I hang mine about 5 feet with a small stick under the top angling it down slightly.

I hang mine about 4 feet, but have tried about 10-12 pointing down using a special mount, this give a totally diff. perspective.

Waist high is my rule of thumb.  I run 8 cams normally during season and in past this has worked best for me.  I have a 34" inseem, so yeah....3' is it...
