hey need some insite i am shooting a Samic Volcano that is 45 @ 28 i am pulling 28 inches and I am currently shooting a 340 spined arrow but i am getting some massive high tail whip and some side to side whips. What should i shoot

I shoot a 55lb long bow with 250 up front on a 500 spined arrow.  Methinks you are massively over spined with that arrow.

definetly overspined. You need a 500 or 600 spine depending on tip weight and arrow length.

500 spine and 160 point weight to start with. Then add point weight to tune in.. And possibly a 600 spine

try a 1916 with 145gr point
What you're shooting seems way too stiff
Is it too late to be what I could have been?

A 340 is way stiff for that bow. I am shooting 340 spine shafts cut to 30&1/4" with 275 grains out front from a 55 pound aggressive d/r longbow and they are still a tad stiff. I would recommend a 500 with a good amount of point weight.

thanks guys I shoot a 125 gr tip and i have been at the archery shop shooting a bunch of different arrows and it seems the bow like a weak spine. I am gonna go back this weekend and try a few in the 500 range. Thanks for the help and info
