Joe,  It's well doecumented here lately on some Kwyk Styk/Kempf threads that, "bowhunter4life" Jeff Berbrick...who has owned/ shot probably more bows than anyone I know....has fallen deeply in luv with his 56" Kwyk Styks...and he has a solid 30" draw and is a great shot(I've seen him shoot). If he feels comfortable with such a short bow, and feels there is no "compromise" in shootablitiy, I'd tend to take his word for it.

"Bo knows"...but Jeff "knows bows"    :archer2:

Search some of the older threads, plenty of pix and opinions.

One thing to remember is that no matter what length bow you get in the KS/Raven, the limbs are the same length....only thing that changes with length, is the riser.

The smoothness is built in the limbs. Only thing you'll really gain I think is sight window.  Don't really think finger pinch is an issue with the static limbs.

My KS #1 was made 60@27"....I now draw 28.5 and I feel no pinch or "stack" at all at that length and it's silky smooth all the back to my ear if I want to draw that far.

Jack's 56" bows are "different"!
