I have a Martin Hunter 60lbs @ 30" and for years a have used 2216 cut at 30 1/4" with bear razorheads and four 4" feathers off the shelf, they fly OK, but a lot of people tell me it is the wrong shaft, they recomend 2117, 2018, etc. It is hard to locate the old Easton shaft selector, the new one has different numbers now, any sugestions?

If they fly OK then why change ?? 2018's would most likely be too weak at 30", but 2117's should work. I would stay with the 2216's @ 60#'s

What if someone tells you, you should be shooting a different bow?

Remember the old saying if it's not broke...........

See if you can get one 2117 full length shaft and cut it down to your 30 1/4" length. Then, tip it with your favorite broadhead and see how it flies.

A little tweaking might be needed with your bow's brace height or not.

A side by side comparison between the two different arrow spine sizes will tell the tale.
