Just orderded some carbons and will need to size them down. What do you all use to cut your carbon shafts. I have a miter saw and wondering if there is a good blade I could get to cut the shafts. For your suggestions, economical is good.

you need to cut carbons with a high speed saw. Where you at in tx, if your close i will cut them for you. you try to cut them with a handsaw and you make splinters in the shafts. if your not close you can make you a little jig or measure the arrow and put in vise and use a dremmel. I have a bowshop so its easy!!

Yes a dremmel or a 3 to 4" grinder with thin blade.

To answer the second question,I have no knowledge of a blade that would work in your miter saw and believe it doesn't turn with sufficient rpms.As a side note be sure you exhaust all your tip and insert weight combinations before cutting up your new order of shafts. Just recently I've been leaving mine full length with 225gr. up front and am delighted with the performance. Just a suggestion.

I use an abrasive cut-off blade or Carborundum blade in a power miter saw. Works fine, just watch the dust.
We are all here because we are not all there.

I've used a metel chop saw before.  Looks like a miter saw but its for cutting metel pipe and stuff.

Bears can attack people- although fewer people have been killed by bears than in all WWI and WWII combined.

I made an arrow saw using a dremmel clamped down on a bench. I got the plans from a thread here on Tradgang.
