I got home from hunting last week and a priority mail box labeled with "perishable" was at my door.  I knew what it was when I saw it was from Lil D.  Well, I wanted to save it for this week-end's trip to the mountains chasing deer, but since I never had poundcake, I hade to sample it.  And sample it.  And sample it!  Best tasting cake I have ever had, and I have had a lot.  Too bad there is none left to take hunting!

Thanks Lil' D   :clapper:

My share of MK, LLC poundcake:

Thanks for the note, Ron.

Lil' D is slowly but surely making her way through the list of shareholders.

Thanks again for the support.

Slice a piece of pound cake and put it in the toaster. When done put some butter on it. Yum. Grandmom used to have that for breakfast!!!

It sure lloks good. Now I want some...

Having been privilaged to be included int he sharing at Whips Pound Cake hunt with Joe, Ken and Charles, I can tell you, Martin, it might be a mistake to try to put it in a toaster.

It is the richest, most moist thing I've ever eaten and it REEKS of butter and other heart-altering substances.

I believe it might just spontaneously burst into flame if subjected to high heat of a toaster!

But you're welcome to bid up on next year's if Li'l D's still baking and see for yourself!  :)
The words "Child" and "terminal illness" should never share the same sentence! Those who care-do, others question!

If you brought it to camp you would have probably had to share it anyway.

Share pound cake????  I would be nibbling on it before I got out of my driveway and it would have been half gone before I got out of the village limits!!!
