I have been bare shaft tuning my 50@28 Black Widow PTF I draw 27" 35/55 cut to 28 1/2 with a 50grn insert with a 145grn point and the shafts dives down and a little to the right about half way to the target. I am RH and shooting about 20Yds. Any ideas?

Have you tried raising your nocking point?

My recurves like a 5/8" nocking point.

Nock point to high or too low and it is bouncing off the shelf.  Other than that, looks in the ball park for spine from my experience.  Would also try a 125 point after you get the nock height closer.

Sounds stiff.Do you have any 35/55's that are full length? Give that a try or add some additional weight to the tip.

Good luck

try moving your knock down a fuzz, you may be bouncing off of the shelf.  your arrow sounds just a bit weak.

It looks like we have a consensus.

Don't worry too much about what arrow flight looks like.  It's darn near impossible to see what's really going on at those speeds.  It's also a great way to get into the habit of dropping your bow arm so you can see what's going on.

Fletch two of those arrows, then compare where the fletched shafts hit to where the bare shafts hit.  You'll find out a lot more.

^this sounds like great advice. Also, I like to shoot bareshafts into a target that preserves the angle of the arrow's entry so I don't have to fletch anything at first. Hay bales are perfect for this. It can be really frustrating trying to figure out whats going on in flight.
