I draw 30 inches on a 47@28 60 amo inch recurve bow.

I have some 2413 shafts that need new fletching.  They started out with 4 inch feathers.  I have 5 inch feathers for refletching.   I'll get 4 inch feathers if they would be better.

Any opinions on the shaft size and feather length for my bow.

I'm getting totally frustrated and really missing my herters perfection mag that has a plastic tab for an arrow rest instead of a shelf. Shot arrows like a dart and quiet too but it split a limb awhile back.

I could keep arrows touching at 20 yards with that.  I can keep arrows touching all day at 20 yards with a compound.  With this new recurve that I've been frustrating myself with it always makes a smacking noise on release and if arrows touch it's only by luck.   These 2413's are what the perfection mag liked.  I want to try them on it's replacement.

The 5 inchers will be noiser, if your going to hunt with them, the 4 inchers are more economical if your saving money as you can usually get two chopped out of one full-length feather instead of one five inch feather.
Check your bow, tuning wise, brace height, nocking point and your form if your getting a bit of smacking noise... I find if the bow is tuned and I get any noise, I caused it....

Since I am a wood arrow shooter I would recommend 11/32 shafting spined about 50-55, use 5 inch feathers for broadheads and 4inchers for the rest. If your not into wood, I am sure one of the others will be along to guide another arrow selection...

I"m guessing your pulling 51#-53# at your 30" draw length. You didn't state what bow model you're shooting nor the point weight.

This is just a wild guess, but I think the 2413s are too stiff for a 31" aluminum arrow out of a 60" length recurve shot off the shelf at the poundage you're shooting.

A 2314 is 10.7 GPI (grains per inch). If you want to keep the same 10.7 GPI arrow, instead of a 2314, if you have a 31", 2215 laying around with a 145-150 grain point weight, try this combination off the shelf.

BTW, I shoot 32" arrows fletched with 3, 5" feathers.

Take the raised rest off the old bow and put it on the new one.
