I have a friend that has the Hoyt Excel riser with Black Max limbs, he is trying to figure out what quiver to use with it, he likes a five or six arrow model. Will a limb bolt model work on an ILF riser?

I have an Excel that I hunt with, and I use the Kwikee Kwik 3 quiver. I don't like to carry a bunch of arrows and take my quiver off my bow any chance I get. The Excel has the AMO standard holes in the riser for sights, quiver, etc. The standard Kwikee bracket fits and works with all their models including the 6 arrow model. I have a pic of my Excel with the quiver on it, but I don't do photobucket.

FUSE Ventera Shorty Quiver - comes in 5 or 3 arrow, camo or blackout. It mounts to the sight holes in the riser with a quick detach mount.
I use the 3 arrow in blackout on my 21" Excel riser, also in blackout.

I really like the Delta style quivers and have then on my BW bows as well as my Hoyt Buffalo and Dorado.
What I like about the quiver is the ability to adjust the mounting position of the quiver on the bow so you can balance the bow out with quiver attached and keep the bow in a neutral positions, aslo like the ability to hold more then 4 arrows for longer hunts and can stick 7 in it if I need them.
They'll be no quitters till we bag us some critters!

Tight Spot out of Montana, they are pricey, but worth every penny, high quality...

You cant really use limb bolt quivers with ILF, some of the new compound quivers, are whisper quiet, soflok, I think is a good one, go on some of the wheelie bow sights. They have rubber locks, that the quivers snaps in and out of, works great, quietens the bow!

I honestly dont think you can beat the strap on quivers that are available today. They are so stable, and the extra width between contact points with the arrow is great for holding your arrows steady after the shot.

I've been using a Great Northern quick detach quiver on my Titan riser for the past three years. It works extremely well.

Same as Jason, I use the Great Northern quick detach quiver on my Zipper riser. It works great.
