i have been using the rancho safari catquiver 3 for a few years and although i do like it I would like to see some improvements.  I am looking to buy an new model and thought before i do I would check to see if anyone else makes a pack with similar features.

Anything like this out there?

thanks

I think that Allen makes one that is similar.

Just curious to what improvements you  would like to see? Always nice to make a good thing better.

smaller compartments, more waterproof material, internal pockets.

you cannot organize anything in this pack - i know other cat quivers have some compartments, but why not layout out like a badlands pack....

I am thinking of just buying a mini and attaching to badlands, but i like the layout of the internal quiver.

I have a badland Nano, and Im going to try Mark Bakers Kwickee side mount in conjunction with it.

I like the Mark Baker style side quiver. On and off quick, and it just follows you along even in the thick stuff. Seems to work with any pack or fanny pack or none at all!

There is a pack company hornhunter that has a side quiver option and something like 17 compartments. I have not tried it yet buy you might want to give them a look.  http://gohornhunter.com/

Thanks guys for the Quiver Caddy plug....Tim Roberts with FarrWest Leather is now building Quiver Caddy's for me.   Contact him (he is a sponsor) and get on his list to get yours.  I know he has just made up a dozen or so.   It's a great option, and works well with packs.

I have used the above referenced pack/quiver for years and it is an excellent daypack.  I used it for elk hunting last year and found it was just a bit too small for that purpose, but for all of my deer hunting, it has held up really well and has compartments galore!
