Wow, what a day!  I checked my cameras and the velvet has been off for almost a week now, the big ones are rubbing and many mature deer nearly have lost their summer coat.  The best time of the year is slowly approaching fellas!    :bigsmyl:

The majority of bucks still have their velvet still completely intact, however one guy i talked to has one without so your not alone in your findings. I got several 2.5 yr olds on camera that look spotted as their summer coats are being shed. Hard not to get excited now that were in Sept already, hopefully all the pre season scouting pays off for everyone, good luck!

eagleone, if I could post I would ... sadly as a techo-dork, I have all I can do just to log on here.

Sad isn't it.    :dunno:
