*Helps me and track and haul an elk out of the deepest, darkest hole on the planet.

*Helps me hang my stand in a spot we share. He drops me off the morning I kill a booner, then is more excited than me when we find it.

*Kills a giant out of one of my stands and apologizes for killing a buck I would not have passed.

Humble, hardworking, unselfish. Good team-mate and best hunting friend I have.

Even though I have not hunted with this buddy or killed an animal, he helps me with setting up my bow (knows infinitely more,) helps with my form (Patience Iago; patience,) and is around to shoot when I can make it there (about an hour away.) He is good company.

Here's brief resume of one I used to hunt with:

*Bush pilot (with plane)
*Fly Fishing Guide (w/drift boat)
*Champion elk caller
*Bowyer
*Family ranch that covered land from whitetails in the river bottoms to elk up high.
*Certified butcher
* Ready to go at a moments notice

Unfortunately we were supposed to meet at 6:30 one morning and this person was 10 minutes late.  I had to cut all ties and search for greener pastures.

I don't give a hoot what time it is in Paris and how "important" the conference call was.  If modeling for Victorias Secret was gonna keep getting in the way of hunting, she will have to find a new hunting buddy.

Hard Times

Dependable and Enthusiastic. If we make plans mid week to meet Saturday morning at 3:30. We don't have to talk about it again, he'll be there. Also, he could have just returned from a 5 mile hike, walk in the door of camp dead tired, and if I say I just saw a shooter heading into an area, he say's, Let's GO! We definetly feed off of each other,at certain times, we all need a push.
