Anybody use the hunters seat? Saw a review but not much info here. My old folding chair put me on the ground in turkey season and my tripod stool isnt very comfortable.
This stuff ain't no rocket surgery science!

I've got that on my list of things to purchase for the upcoming season so I'm like you.....hope to hear some feedback.  Looks like a good seat for shooting a longbow from and helps to back you into the cover.

What the hunter seat?  You got a pic of it?

I tried one out and decided that the seat needed a little help. On slight padded seats my butt likes an additional cushion, I wear one that is attached to by belt and dangles behind me. I made of my own tree leaner with wood and some with some alterations, after seeing the original.  I prefer the Hunters 360 if I know where I am going to plant myself, but things that are easier to carry are handier when I have the roamies. I got frustrated with always crushing my boys when I would lean forward to shoot with the cheap rotating tripod folding stools, the tree leaners are quieter and quicker than anything out there.

I like the cheap fold up camp chairs WITHOUT the armrests. usually cost about 8 bucks, I mean dollars...

That's my hunter's seat.

Rob...I've used the tripod stool with a foam seat added for additional comfort. THe foam seat is tied to my belt behind me. The stool is tied to the bottom of my pack..it's not the most comfortable thing to sit on but I hunt a ways back in the woods on public land so my setup needs to be light weight.

if there is a tree around this is very comfortable, going to take it moose hunting this fall.. Millennium tree seat

Ray Hammond turned me on to them and I think they are great. Good price too. They are very solid and comfy and easy to pack, has a shoulder strap and just weighs a few pounds. Solid rest against the tree.

I bought one. Works great. Very portable. Will give it a good try this fall. Easy set-up and comfortable enough.

The woodsey Too is the one I like best. It is whisper quiet, can rotate 360 degrees, and has a comfortable surface for my back to rest against. Here is a pic:

Rob,I talked to the fella that makes them thinking the price and idea were worth checking, but because of where I live in Canada the shipping  was going to be more than the huntseat. I did make one according to the photo on the sight and will try it Sept 1. Have used it around the yard and works well. I also enlarged the platform to sit on and installed some padding.. Maxx
