The Shrew Safari is as good as a big and dangerous game bow gets. The one owned by Doug Burns that is the first production Safari is perfect for the animal whose horn adorns the riser and tips of this spectacular weapon. I just wish I was a switch hitter so I could test Pat's bow too, but he did a nice job of showing and discussing the capabilities of his bow. Although the bows are even prettier in real life, even in photos these bows make a good case for being the best looking bows ever made. I like the fact that they are deadly killers, not just some pretty faces.

Good shooting Pat. I am eager for you to come up and fling some arrows with me. Gregg, I am WAITING!    :coffee:

Pat, I'm glad the bow arrived safely, it appears that it likes you..   :D  The string went out yesterday in a Priority Mail envelope..   :o

No worries, Ron. Nicely designed little bow you got there. I'm really happy with mine.

Got the string today, Ron.  Thanks.  Gonna take it to the range with Allan tonight as long as nothing else comes up.

Allan,
I'm waiting too !!!  :biglaugh:

Just got back from the range. It was great to finally meet Allan. The chrono wasn't working reliably, but our bows shot about how we expected. Allan has some REALLY nice shrews. Almost makes you want t convert to right handed.

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow's effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs

Bill -- After seeing and shooting Doug's Shrew Safari, and then yesterday seeing Pat's Safari, the wait has become even more difficult. I feel your pain. Fortunately, I have way more than my share of Shrews to comfort me while I wait.

I enjoyed meeting Pat, and I will start a new thread to talk about him and our time together at the archery range. He is a very nice and STRONG guy! Plus he is a good shot. Story and photos soon.

Allan,
I think you have the right idea. Just get on the list every 6 months. Really cuts down on the wait time!!!  :biglaugh:
