Found an excellent condition Bear Kodiak on CL for $50   Unfortunately, since I am gainfully employed and don't have time to cruise the internet all day, I saw it too late.  I spoke with a very nice old lady this morning who said, "Oh we sold that yesterday.  We had 5 or 6 calls.  We didn't realize the value of the bow, we were ready to throw it in the garbage.  Sorry about that."

Could be worse, I bet there's guys out there that saw it in time but didn't have the $50.  You're on the better end of that pendulum.

At least it didn't make the trash heap.  I wonder how many old beauties end up there now a days.  I bet many.

Keep looking, there are more good deals out there. The bow I'm shooting now is a Pearson Cougar I bought for $50. Before that I shot a Bear Grizzly that my uncle bought at a yard sale for $35.

There is a Super Mag 48 over on "that site that shall not be named"...  its a wreck to the eye but Whip could get it made pretty for ya...
