Hard Times

I have a strap on "mini" bow quiver and couldn't keep it from loosening up while hunting, so I used a old shaft to connect the two. You can cut to preferred length and put a insert in each end, the bottom section of a mini bow already has a screw in it, just need to replace with one that is  longer and matches insert threads , for the top I drilled a hole dead center all hte way through( there is a metal liner) and placed a stainless screw into insert. Makes a very stable strap on quiver, and you can use any type and color shaft you choose

If they are 2ft long glue 3in alum shaft cut lenghwise into one end.Push other end into another 2ft piece and you have a 4ft pole for a bind.Witch will take down to 2ft.4 poles plus 12ft camo net makes a nice follup blind.

Do your wives actually let you guys put this stuff in the house? lol.

I really like it, but my wife makes pretty well sure that my archery stuff/hunting stuff/ etc. stays out of site in the main part of the house.

I also put reflective tape on them and use to track blood trails at night. Just stick them in the ground every so often and you shine your light on them to see which way the trail is going also marks the blood trail and the last part of blood. in case you think you need to wait till day light. I've to do this When my light go to dim to see.

We do alot of shooting around my house, mostly arrows, but firearms too.

A fun target to shoot at with both, are brightly colored paintballs. A red paintball supported by a cut off aluminum or carbon shaft that is stuck in the ground makes for a challenging target. It would amaze you to watch my kids shoot arrows at a .68 caliber paintball perched on a cut off arrow shaft. They rarely hit the paintball, BUT, the resulting near miss will make for a short bloodtrail every time.  :D

Good tomato stakes too.

I use them to fill up a corner in the closet.

Besides footing my carbons I use them as gasket punches.

Cut using a basic copper pipe cutter will leave a nice sharp edge.

I use them to punch holes in leather too. Collect a range of diameters.
Learn, practice and pass on "leave no trace" ethics, no matter where you hunt.

Get two same length, nock them and install a tip. Push in ground inside your blind to hold the longbow. Ready when you are and handy
Cast a long shadow-you may provide shade to someone who needs it.  Semper Fi

I was using mine for tomato stakes and the neighbor kids were swiping them and playing with them. I caught them and gave them some instead of having them screw up my matos next thing I knew I had all the moms around madder than hell for giving there chillins sharp sticks.Thing sure have changed since I was a kid. Plug the ends with rubber caps found at hardware store and they make great speed loaders for your 22 rifles that are tube fed.
