BigJohn

I have an old Ben Pearson Cougar recurve and I can't remember what the brace height is. 62" 45# @ 28"  Can anyone help me out?

Thanks, John

I'd say around 7 - 7.5".

If you put a flemish string on it you can adjust brace easier than an endless loop in my opinion.

Dacron only though.

The real test is to get a string, shoot it, and adjust brace for a good tune with the right arrows. The bow will tell you what it thinks is the best brace height.

I you're shootin' woodies I'd go with 55-60 static spine and work them to length for tune as well.

There are others on here way more experienced than me. Hopefully you'll get more answers to help you make a good decision.

Good luck with the search.
