I wear an old cowboy hat that I cut the brim down on. Have worn it for years. It has a kind of "western derby" look.

My favorite is the old Bighorn Bowhunting KOM hat. The brim is so short that sometimes the sun can get in your eyes

Waxed cotton Filson style hat.  Leather band and spray silicone on it every year to weather proof.  2 1/2" brim works for me.  Got at Gander Mt, Terre Haute IN in the bargain bin for less than $4.

If your going to shoot a trad bow you have to have a beat up old hat or you'll look odd.
