Warm weather I wear a BIG JIM hat from big Jim archery, has a wire brim that stays where you bend it.

Cold weather you can't beat a Toboggan ( sp ) ?

I wear an old cowboy hat that I cut the brim down on. Have worn it for years. It has a kind of "western derby" look.

My favorite is the old Bighorn Bowhunting KOM hat. The brim is so short that sometimes the sun can get in your eyes  ;)

Waxed cotton Filson style hat.  Leather band and spray silicone on it every year to weather proof.  2 1/2" brim works for me.  Got at Gander Mt, Terre Haute IN in the bargain bin for less than $4.      :archer2:

If your going to shoot a trad bow you have to have a beat up old hat or you'll look odd.

Good thread got me to thinking about a much needed facelift for the Stetson. Too many years of abuse through dense sticky & sharp woods claimed 4 headbands min & holes where they shouldn't be. Polished bone & tortoise shell can do wonders. Add barred feathers to the pigtail out back & it's done. Maybe some skidmark remover could help? Like the way it turned out.

I love the rack on your hat.  Nice unique touch.

Packwood. That is some beautiful country out there. Only a couple of hours from me.

I definitely need to get out more.
