Hi Guys,

Wondered if someone could help me out on a little arrow building?  What is the typical weight addition for the use of glue for an insert, or broadhead adapter, feathers, nock placement etc.  Also would like to know how much a wrap weighs and how that may figure into using stu's calculator for the optimal arrow set up.  Thanks for the help!

bb,  I think you are getting too wrapped up with this.  The weight of the glue used is minimum and not worth worrying about.  Stu's range of about 2# really takes this into consideration.  And the calculator is to get you close so you can fine tune from there.  You can estimate wraps to add 15 to 20 grains but don't worry about how much the glue weighs.

Measure with a micrometer, mark it with a magic marker and cut it with and ax.   :biglaugh:
