I shoot 52# at 28.5". My present arrows are Easton Gamegetter 400's cut to 30". I have been using 125g broadheads and a 15g insert.

I am almost out of arrows so I need new ones but don't like the fat Gamegetter diameter. have been thinking about returning to carbon arrows to reduce shaft diameter. I would also like to increase my FOC by using a heavier insert with the same 125g broadheads. Any suggestions as to what I might try would be very much appreciated. I am after a reasonable heavy arrow.

Thanks!

I shoot gamegetter xx75 2016 aluminum shafts with 5" sheild cut fletching and 100 gr tip my shafts are 29.5" NG to BOP. They shoot great out of my 50# bow but are noisy  out of my 55# bow. I think you would have good luck with them.

My bow pull is nearly identical to yours.

Bear Super Grizzly 50@28 but I'm drawing 29" +/-.

I shoot GT Trads 3555s at full length with 12gr alum insert and 145 field point off the shelf. these arrows fly straight and true out of the recurve.

PM sent.

I shoot 50 pounds at 28 inches draw with the recurve that I hunt with.  GT Trad 5575's 30 inches long with 200 grains up front bareshaft perfect for me. Total arrow weight is about 500 grains.

Need more info!! Recurve or LB is it high performance, cut past center, FF string all that would help. I would say a CE heritage 150 cut to 29.5"s and a 50 grain brass insert and 125 grain head, this flies perfect out of all my high performance recurves that are cut past center and they are betweem 52-54#s at my 28.5" draw. ST Axis 500, 75 grain insert, 125 grain point, full length, 7" wraps, 3 5" feathers. Heavier point weight will probably work too.

Thanks very much for all your help guys! There are a few great arrow combinations suggested here. Now I need to choose one...  :)

The bow is a recurve shooting about 195ft/s with a dacron string. I don't know what arrows were used to measure the speed from this bow but can find out. I have a second 50# recurve bow but am not sure of the string type or chrono readings.

Thanks again everyone!
