I was looking through the recipe section last night and saw a name I haven't seen in a while, Dean Torges.  His website bowyersedge.com has all of his previous articles about hunting, cooking, osage bows, and BBO's archived for reading.  It is an excellent source of info for a lot of traditional bowhunting information.  I think a lot of our newer members would find his site helpful and informative.  It is to bad that Mickey Lotz's treasure trove of information was lost.

Good reminder of a wonderful site Joseph!  Lots of good stuff on Dean's pages.

Whats the Deal with Mickeys info?  I miss that guy on here. Is he well?

Stumpkiller

I stole and slightly modified his design for a tree-seat and I rely on it every season.

Also the single-arrow bow quiver from a chopped Selway Piggy-Backer.

And I have one of his Bowyer's Edge tools that I use to taper my wood shafts (as well as the instructions from the site on how to do it).

Dean's good people.  The squirrel hunting stories are a good read.

The host website that Mickey had his stuff listed on, can't remember the name, changed and the way it was done none of the prior info got carried over so everything was lost.  I don't know what Mickey has been up to, I miss him here also.  Dean has a blog on his site and it sounds like he is having fun up to his ears in retirement!
