Turkey blind setting up and red light

Turkey season opens tomorrow morning here and I didn't get a chance to set the blind up since there was a turkey already in the field I had to walk through when I got there.
So I'm thinking I may set up somewhere on the edge of the field next to the woods on the opposite side of the field from where I suspect it roosted.

Here's my question, if I wanted to quietly set up my blind in the dark and needed a small light source to help with trying to find everything........do you think a red light would be a good choice? I have no idea what light sources turkey can see or can't see other than white light?    
I do know that they see colors very well, maybe even better than we can.

My flashlight has 3 different color settings white, red, and blue. I know that white light is out, but which would you use red or blue?

Use the red light to save your night vision. There is no 'quiet' when setting up a blind. They are terribly noisy with stretched nylon, velcro and zippers.

It shouldn't be a problem with a small light. I  use a very small white light head lamp. Just get there early. Good luck, Glen

I say go without the light. I did it twice this weekend. It is usually not pitch black this time of year with the full moon anyway. I would be more worried about the turkeys being able to see me on these bright nights.

Turns out I didn't need the light afterall, the moon was still up enough that I could kinda see my way around. I decided to leave the blind at home and just park it next to a couple of big oaks on the edge of the field. I saw 1 big hen about 7:30am, and just saw another out in the middle of a cow pasture feeding around the cattle trough, picking up left over feed I suppose? That was about 11am and didn't hear nor see a gobbler all morning. It started getting hot and zero tom talk whatsoever so I threw in the towel for today. Gotta quit at 1pm anyway, but if I heard anything promising I'd still be at it, can't get close to what ain't there.

Maybe tomorrow I'll change location and my luck?

Typically never use my light, which is red, until inside the blind.
